fxpstres is a stress program for the fixed-point math API. Any mention of QNX in this document refers to the QNX 4.x OS.

When this program is executed, it will enter an infinite loop of picking a operation code and attempting to carry it out. Operation codes consist of either a math operation or a comparison.

This program and the fixed-point math API are coded to make use of the log manager if it is active.

The fxpstres application can be compiled for all stated platforms.

Under the Linux/Unix/QNX operating systems, the fxpstres application can be compiled using the cl script.
