Database Replication

The Future Lab Bbuuzzb database server has the ability to replicate record changes to other Bbuuzzb database servers. Table replication is available for Bbuuzzb database servers using the TCP IPC method only.

By default, when the Bbuuzzb database server starts, replication is off. To enable table replication, the source and target server(s) replication flag must be turned on by calling the function db_config_set_replicate_flag or by using the config.set.replicate.flag dbm command.

How Does Replication Work

Any Bbuuzzb table except system tables may be replicated. Replication details for each table are stored in the catalog. You may specify as many target database servers as you like. The details regarding each target server are stored in a sub-field.

Refer to the replication management module for complete technical details regarding table replication.
